The mission of Harding University is to provide a quality education that will lead to an understanding and philosophy of life consistent with Christian ideals. As stated in its mission documents, Harding University is a private Christian institution of higher education committed to the tradition of the liberal arts and sciences. As a liberal arts university, the faculty of Harding University believe that the knowledge, skills, and perspectives gained through a study of the liberal arts is a key component to success in all of our programs and in any profession.
The following outcomes represent the wide variety of skills and perspectives in the study of the liberal arts. The outcomes are introduced and assessed initially through the structured liberal arts program and all majors programs continue to develop the outcomes as appropriate to their discipline.
