Kinesiology majors

The expected Program Learning Outcomes for this major are:

• Students will:
  • use appropriate communication techniques in effective presentations (written, oral, PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.).
  • plan and modify instructional interations with diverse populations utilizing accommodations and modifications.
  • apply knowledge and skills necessary to prevent and care for injuries or conditions through First Aid, CPR, and basic athletic training.
  • be proponents of the role that physical activity plays in enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and society.
  • employ organizational skills in administrative areassuch as budgeting, managing resources, and coordination with outside agencies.
  • demonstrate a personal and professional philosophy reflecting a Christian worldview.
