Entrance into a graduate athletic training program is competitive. Applicants will be required to complete numerous prerequisite courses and often maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Additional application requirements may include completing the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and observing athletic trainers working in various professional settings.

The preathletic training concentration at Harding University will include most of the prerequisite coursework necessary for athletic training school. Students should obtain admission requirements for the particular schools to which they plan to apply and arrange their undergraduate curriculum accordingly. Students are encouraged to contact the Preathletic Training advisor for guidance in planning coursework. Students may choose from any number of majors, but the preathletic training concentration should be included within the academic plan.

Requirements: 46 or 47 Hours
