BHIS 3080 - Archaeology and Geography of Israel


A course emphasizing the historical, cultural, geographical, and religious contexts of events in the Old and New Testaments and in the intertestamental period. It consists of lectures, readings, and on-site travel to excavation sites, museums, and geographical features of Israel. Co-requisite: BHIS 3070 . Should the student desire Liberal Arts  global perspectives credit, both BHIS 3070  (3 hours credit required) and BHIS 3080  must be taken concurrently.

Credit Hours: 3
