All majors at Harding are required to complete the 47-hour Liberal Arts program. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:
9 hours of Inquiry, Investigation, and Reasoning are satisfied in the major.
Additional courses from previously listed course clusters (Organismal Structure and Function, Organismal Diversity, and Laboratory Experience) may also be applied toward the remaining hours if not taken to meet cluster requirements.
Math leveling work, if needed, increases the total hours in the degree by 5 to 6 hours.
Students seeking teaching licensure must follow eligibility criteria for admission and retention listed in the Cannon-Clary College of Education section of the undergraduate catalog.
Remaining Bible/Electives: 8 Hours
PHS 4100, counted above in the major, satisfies the Bible requirement in the semester it is taken. Bible is not required during the supervised teaching semester.
