PPHS 3050 - Culture of Poverty A contemporary cross-cultural multidisciplinary course focusing on holistic ministry with individuals, groups, and communities experiencing poverty in urban/rural domestic and international settings. Emphasis is on human and community development to break the poverty cycle through application of health care and Christian principles. Includes a field experience commensurate with course objectives. (Open to all University students.) Offered only at University International Program campuses. This course satisfies the global perspectives requirement in the Liberal Arts program. Equivalent to NURS 3050 .
Credit Hours: 3
Term Offered: Offered with sufficient enrollment in a health care based International Program.
