FLAN 5100 - Foreign Language Teaching Methods and Assessment - Secondary This course provides an overview of the history and methodology of foreign language teaching in the United States, including the integration of theories of second-language acquisition, various models of assessment, technology and professional standards for communication, culture, comparisons, connections, and communities in planning and instruction. The course prepares potential licensure candidates for the Praxis World Languages Pedagogy test.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into a Master’s level program in the College of Education or consent of instructor
