COUN 6601 - Professional School Counseling I

Philosophy, organization, and practices of a counseling program in the elementary and secondary school. The school counselor’s role as counselor, consultant, and coordinator emphasized, and professional identity and legal issues as they relate to professional school counseling are included. All areas incorporate the ASCA national model. Follows national standards for school counseling programs.
