Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• Three hours of the Creative Spirit component are met within the major and counted below. ENG 201  or ENG 202  is still required.
• EDFD 203  is required in place of PSY 201  in the Individual and Social Environment component and is counted below in the hours required for licensure.
• Three hours of the Global Perspectives component are met by MUS 324  and counted below.

Music major status requires a passing score of 80 percent or higher on the Theory Entrance Exam or MUS 170  with a grade of “B” or better; and satisfactory performance on the Theory, Keyboard and Principal Applied Performance Evaluations.
