MATH 151 - College Algebra Rapid review of elementary algebra, quadratic equations, functions and graphs, inequalities, logarithms, ratio and proportion, variation, progressions, mathematical induction, binomial theorem, theory of equations, determinants, and complex numbers. This class may make use of the testing center and/or may give exams outside of regularly scheduled class hours.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: MATH 105 with a “C” or higher or a score of 22 or higher on the Math ACT; or 510 or higher on the Math SAT; a score of 50 or higher on the Algebra section of the COMPASS Algebra test; or a score of 54 or higher on the College Algebra section of the COMPASS College Algebra test.
