FCS 2050 - Families in Global SocietyStructures and functions of family in a globally diverse society including current issues, trends, projections, and policies. Exploration of the historical development of families, the importance of families in the functioning of all societies, and the reciprocal influences of families and other societal units including governmental, religious, educational, economic, and workplace. Using the U.S. system as the reference point, other countries' family structures will be compared and contrasted. This course satisfies the global perspectives requirement in the Liberal Arts program. Credit Hours: 3 Term Offered: Fall, Spring |
