Requirements


Liberal Arts: 53 Hours


Recommended:

Required:

  • ECON 2010  (Individual and Social Environment component) is required in the Business core.

Business Administration Core: 41 Hours


All Bachelor of Business Administration degree (B.B.A.) majors require a uniform Business Core of 41 hours. ECON 2010 ** does satisfy 3 hours of the Liberal Arts program, and is counted above. The purpose of the core is to provide understanding of a generally recognized common body of knowledge in business. The Business Core consists of:

* MATH 1200  is strongly recommended to fulfill the Liberal Arts requirement in math for all B.B.A. degree majors and serves as the prerequisite for this course.

** ECON 2010  is part of the Liberal Arts program.

Accounting Requirements: 27 hours


Business Electives: 3 Hours


  • Choose 3 hours from the College of Business Administration from courses numbered 3000 level or higher.

Remaining Bible/Electives: 5 Hours


BUS 4350 , counted above in the Business Core , satisfies the Bible requirement during the semester it is taken. BMIS 3000 , recommended above under Liberal Arts , also satisfies the Bible requirement in the semester it is taken. If not taken, 2 additional hours of Bible are required.

CPA Track: Students who want to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam must complete 150 hours. 

Graduate Credit Note(s):


Up to 9 hours of graduate credit in the Management and Business Ethics (MBA)  or 12 hours of graduate credit in the Information Systems (MSIS)  graduate programs may be used to satisfy the requirements for the BBA.
