Requirements

Liberal Arts: 47 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

Physical Science and Mathematics are counted below in the hours required for the major.

Do not take PHS 1010 , PHS 1020 , PHS 1030 , PHS 1050 , PHS 1060 , PHS 1080/1080L ; MATH 1200 . These courses do not count toward the major.

Note(s):

COMP 3280 is strongly recommended. A double major in physics and mathematics or computer science is also strongly recommended.
CHEM 1030/1030L does not satisfy the prerequisites for later chemistry courses. Interested students should fulfill the chemistry requirement by taking CHEM 1040/1040L and CHEM 1050/1050L instead.

Remaining Bible/Electives: 12 Hours

Math leveling work, if needed, nullifies electives.

PHS 4100 , counted above in the major, satisfies the Bible requirement in the semester it is taken. It should be taken in the spring of the senior year.
