Special Education Resource K-6 and 7-12 Endorsement

Candidates who hold a standard K-6 or 4-8 license, or a standard 7-12 license in a content area of English Language Arts, Mathematics, or Science may add this endorsement by satisfactorily completing the 9 hours of courses listed below and 3 hours of special education survey course from a previous program of study. In addition, the candidate must pass the Arkansas Department of Education approved Praxis II examination for Special Education. Candidates not teaching in Arkansas should check with their state department of education for specific requirements for licensure. Admission requirements for this endorsement are the same as the Master of Education in Special Education K-12.
