Requirements

Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

Three hours of the Creative Spirit in the Liberal Arts  requirements are met within the major and counted below. ENG 201  or ENG 202  is still required.

Six hours of Global Perspectives in the Liberal Arts requirements are met within the major and counted below.

Music Major Core: 36 Hours

Music major status requires a passing score of 80 percent or higher on the Theory Entrance Examination or MUS 170  with a grade of “B” or better; and satisfactory performance on the Theory, Keyboard and Principle Applied Performance Evaluations. Bachelor of Music status requires meeting the technical proficiency and repertoire standards of the BMVP program. If the BMVP standards are not met upon enrollment, the student may be admitted provisionally and must meet the standards by the beginning of the second semester in order to be considered a BMVP candidate.
