• KINS 206 - Foundations of Kinesiology Credit Hours: 3
• KINS 261 - Theory and Psychology of Coaching Credit Hours: 2
• KINS 325 - Motor Learning Credit Hours: 2
• KINS 356 - Teaching Sports Skills II Credit Hours: 3

Students must take BIOL 113  as their liberal arts requirement.

Students must provide proof of American Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED training or take HED 205 , which increases the hours in the minor.

This minor does not automatically certify students as licensed coaches. It only qualifies students to sit for the required state licensure test. This minor is for nonkinesiology majors.

Students seeking teaching licensure must follow eligibility criteria for admission and retention listed in the Cannon-Clary College of Education  section of the undergraduate catalog.
