Includes PSY 201 required for all majors. It is suggested that psychology majors consider the following courses:

Students preparing for graduate study in Clinical, Counseling, School, Human Resources/Industrial Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy are encouraged to take PSY 385 , PSY 401 , PSY 412 , and PSY 435 as electives. These courses are required by most graduate programs, and, if they are not taken at Harding, they most likely will be required as leveling courses. PSY 440 is highly recommended. Note(s):
*Emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience or medical areas (premed, prepharmacy, prephysician assistant, etc.)
Psychology undergraduate majors wishing to pursue graduate work in Neuroscience or medical fields are urged to enroll in the core curriculum in Psychology (36 hours) and also complete the Preprofessional Health Science Major (PPHS), BA . Psychology students wanting to do further graduate work in neuroscience may be required to take leveling courses at the chosen institution as required for admittance. |
