Biblical Studies Certificate

The Institute for Church and Family and the College of Bible & Religion  have developed a Certificate of Completion in Biblical studies. The certificate program provides continuing education for nontraditional, nonresidential students, introducing them to biblical studies of higher education. The certificate recognizes 18 semester hours of completed coursework from the College of Bible & Religion  with an emphasis on textual studies. The Certificate of Completion in Biblical Studies is only available through the Distance Delivery Bible Program.

Code of Conduct

Students enrolled in the certificate program must agree to abide by the Academic Integrity Policy of Harding University as well as the Code of Conduct of the Center for Adult and Extended Education. Harding University reserves the right to deny the awarding of a certificate of completion to students whose lifestyle or conduct is not consistent with the values and principles of the  University.

Requirements


Students must complete at least 18 hours with the Distance Delivery Bible Program, earning a 2.0 or higher grade on all work: a minimum of 10 hours of text with at least one 2-hour course from both divisions (BOLD and BNEW), BDOC 252 , BMIS 280  and additional hours from any division within the College of Bible & Religion .

Students must be enrolled in the program one semester before the certificate will be awarded.
