Research-based theories, concepts and the nursing process are emphasized using critical-thinking skills to provide holistic nursing care. Responsibility and accountability for nursing care, collaboration, resource conservation and use, respect for human worth and dignity, national and global concerns, and a commitment to a servant-leadership lifestyle are foundational to effective clinical judgments and client outcomes. Three lecture hours per week and 96 clinical hours. This course is eligible for honors credit.
