NURS 412 - Research in Nursing Introduces quantitative and qualitative research methodology, critical review of nursing research literature, and application of findings to nursing practice. Christian principles, professional ethics, research findings, evidence-based practice, and utilization are explored and related to patient outcomes. Critical thinking, critical reading, critiquing processes, written and oral communication skills are emphasized. May be taken by non-nursing students with prior approval from the dean. Three lecture hours per week. This course is eligible for honors credit.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Level I standing and MATH 200 .
