Provides a basis for further studies in physics and the applied sciences. Topics covered include acoustics, optics and electricity. Three hours lecture and 3 hours laboratory per week. Credit in both PHYS 202  and 212 will not be granted. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment or credit in MATH 251  and a grade of “C” in MATH 201 . A grade of “C” or higher is recommended before advancing from PHYS 211  to PHYS 212 .
