Instruction will include beginning sight singing and ear training. No previous musical training is necessary. Does not count toward a major or minor in music. Students must earn a grade of “B” or better in MUS 170  to enroll in MUS 171 . Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Entering music students must take the Theory Entrance Examination and Piano Placement Examination. Please come by the music office to take these exams.
