COMM 401 - Christian View of Media Ethics Course will increase understanding of biblical principles relationship to media professions, and present historical and contemporary background in how news, entertainment, and persuasive media interact with religion. Seeks to motivate students to become “salt and light” in their respective media professions, committed to discernment, biblical values, ethical agenda setting. Mass communication majors only, students should take during their last fall semester. Satisfies Bible requirement the semester it is taken for mass communication majors only.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Senior standing and/or completion of 24 hours in the major.
