BMIS 388 - Development Ministry


This course is taught at the Global Village facility at H.U.T. (Harding University Tahkodah). Through cross-cultural simulation, the course provides hands-on training in various types of benevolent outreach to the poor, including intensive gardening, livestock management, water development and sanitation, appropriate technology, and primary health care. Students are also introduced to theological as well as strategic issues in relief and development. Enrollment for 0 credit hours is restricted to students attending HIZ during the following fall when the course will be taken for three credits; course fee is applicable.
