SPED 409 - Educational Procedures for Children with Exceptionalities This course is designed to prepare the professional educator to effectively teach the range of students found in the typical classroom. The educator learns about the IEP and IFSP and the role of the regular and special educator as they form a collaborative team. The World Wide Web and other technology resources are important areas stressed. Inclusive strategies for adapting standard instruction to meet the learning needs of all students in a general education or special education classroom are learned.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program.
