NURS 363 - Pathophysiology for Nursing Practice


Alterations in physiological well-being across the lifespan are studied from national and global nursing perspectives as pathological responses to disease, stress and environmental changes. Critical thinking, research findings and scientific knowledge are applied to analyze clinical nursing implications and client outcomes. Three lecture hours per week.

If it has been more than four years since the student has completed BIOL 253, contact course coordinator.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Sophomore standing, NURS 100, BIOL 159, 249, 253, and CHEM 114. This course must be taken prior to admission to the College of Nursing. This course is eligible for honors credit.

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Fall, Spring (Summer with sufficient demand)
