BUS 317 - Legal Environment of Business

An introduction to law and the American legal system with an emphasis on federal regulation. Topics treated include a survey of jurisdiction, alternative dispute resolution, torts and criminal law. Other significant topics are the constitutional basis of regulation; administrative law; consumer, environmental and labor law; and a checklist of legal concerns of the business entrepreneur.

Credit Hours: 3
