BMIN 329 - Congregational Ministry


This course is a study of biblical and theological bases for ministry in the context of the local congregation with an emphasis on corporate spiritual formation and health, outreach (evangelism, community presence and service), visioning (strategic planning and evaluating, revising and beginning ministries), assimilation and involvement, use of tools, ministering across generations, small group ministries, adjusting to congregational variables (church size, growth and decline), responding to congregational change, effective church methods, and related issues.
