MATH 298 - Math Applications for Middle Level Educators

Topics are explored in mathematics content in the areas of statistics, probability, measurement, geometrical foundations, and rational numbers. Instruction provided in the use of appropriate mathematics, manipulatives, hands-on activities and technology. Emphasis is given to national and state standards for mathematics.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: MATH 151  and MATH 240  and admission to the Teacher Education Program. Corequisite: BIOL 408 .

Credit Hours: 2
