Interdepartmental Programs

Interdepartmental programs transcend departmental boundaries. These 11 programs — the Academic Advising Center, Academic Resources Center, ADVANCE, Cooperative Education, English as a Second Language Program, General Studies major, Honors College, Humanities major, International Programs, Liberal Arts Program, McNair Scholars Program, Preprofessional Programs and Trio Student Support Services — vary greatly in size and scope. One — the Liberal Arts Program — is required of all students. The others are more specific in nature. All play an important role in supporting traditional academic programs.
