FCS 6700 - Development of the Nutrition ProfessionalThis course will cover professional skill development, finding and obtaining employment, professionalism and ethics in the workplace, membership and involvement with professional organizations, and maintaining and obtaining credentials/advanced certifications in nutrition and dietetics. Students will learn to showcase their goals, strengths, experiences, and salary expectations through written and oral communication, identify and solve workplace ethical dilemmas, and create a professional development portfolio based on their career goals.
