FCS 6260 - Preceptor Recruitment and Stewardship


In this course, students will learn the characteristics, skills, and roles of a preceptor. Students will examine the ways in which they can and will learn from preceptors throughout the program. Networking, communication, recruitment, and scheduling of preceptors and/or supervised experiential learning sites will be reviewed in this course. To receive credit for the course, students must earn a grade of B or higher on all assignments and receive a grade B or higher in the course. Failure to pass this course will delay student progression into the program.
