COUN 6520 - Research Methods

This course emphasizes essential research techniques including selecting and defining a problem, choosing from strategies based on various types of research, and then, organizing and developing a research plan, preparing for and securing data, treating and interpreting data ethically, and reporting research findings in APA format. Emphasis is also given to understanding evidence-based practice and becoming informed consumers of individual, marriage, couple and family based research.
