FLAN 4000 - Introduction to Foreign Language Research MethodsThis course prepares students for independent or collaborative research in fields related to foreign languages. Content will vary according to the career interests of students, but may include second language acquisition, cultural studies, literary analysis, linguistics, and/or translation studies. Ethical research, academic integrity, and standards for publication in these fields will also play a key role. Course will be taught in English. Prerequisite(s): A grade of D or higher in an upper-level French or Spanish course in linguistics, culture, translation, or literature Credit Hours: 1 Term Offered: Spring with sufficient enrollment |
