FLAN 3300 - Special Topics in Foreign FilmExploration of movements and themes in the development of cinema in a specific region of the world outside the United States. Course will be taught in English, but films will be presented in foreign language with English subtitles. Readings will be available in English, but for foreign language students selected readings will be made available in the language of the region of interest. FLAN-designated courses do not count toward a major or minor in a foreign language or toward the global perspectives requirement in the Liberal Arts program. Prerequisite(s): FR 2020 or SPAN 2020 or ITAL 2020 or COMM 1960 with a grade of D or higher or consent of department chair Credit Hours: 3 Term Offered: Spring of odd years with sufficient enrollment |
