FLAN 3670 - Foreign Language Internship

The Foreign Language Internship course is designed to give a student university credit for appropriate practical experience involving foreign language use in a professional environment of their choice of field (medical, missionary, business, etc.). The student has the sole responsibility for any and all financial outlay, logistical steps (medical shots, passport, etc.), or any other component in preparing for, carrying out, and completing the internship with the exception of the specific duties mentioned below. Consent of the instructor is required before beginning work. Course credit will be determined by the number of hours of participation. As a FLAN course, it does not count towards Spanish or French credits or as the language requirement for International Studies.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of D or higher in one of the following: FR 2020, GER 2020, ITAL 2020, RUSS 2020, or SPAN 2020

Credit Hours: 1-6

Term Offered: Offered with sufficient enrollment
