BIOL 4420 - Developmental Biology


A one-semester course exploring the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying embryonic development of several animals. Topics include regulation of gene expression, cell-cell communication, fertilization, early embryonic development, specific organ system development, and metamorphosis. Three lecture/discussion hours per week.
