The judicial branches of national, state and local levels of government in terms of organization, officers, jurisdictions and decision making; informal mechanisms of the court system, such as plea bargaining and civil settlements; basic legal research and citation style.

Prerequisite(s): POLS 1787  with a grade of D or higher
