NURS 4120 - Research in NursingIntroduces quantitative and qualitative research methodology, critical review of nursing research literature, and application of findings to nursing practice. Christian principles, professional ethics, research findings, evidence-based practice, and utilization are explored and related to patient outcomes. Critical thinking, critical reading, critiquing processes, written and oral communication skills are emphasized. May be taken by non-nursing students with prior approval from the dean. Three lecture hours per week. This course is eligible for honors credit. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1200, NURS 3210, NURS 3450, NURS 3500, NURS 3510 Credit Hours: 3 Term Offered: Fall, Spring (Summer for NW AR only) |
