HCM 3250 - Legal Issues in Healthcare Organizations

Deals with the interrelationship of our legal system with the structure and functions of healthcare institutions including legal aspects of hospital mergers and corporate reorganization. A comprehensive examination of the legislative initiatives that led to deregulation and market competition and the legal issues an institution faces in providing care for all individuals.

Prerequisite(s): HCM 3100  

Credit Hours: 3
