Role of financial institutions in the money and capital markets of the U.S., including supply of and demand for funds, interest rates, and flow of funds analysis. Theory and practice of bank management, including history of banking and bank regulation, current theories of bank operations, and principles of operations relating to loans, credit analysis, and security portfolios. Analysis of Federal Reserve regulations, activities and publications.
