FCS 3220/3220L - Guidance in Early ChildhoodApplication of principles of development to the planning of programs serving children aged birth through pre-kindergarten. Guiding and teaching during routines and learning activities, including accommodating children with special needs. Techniques for managing groups of children in various settings will be practiced. Two hours lecture and 3 hours participation in early childhood programs per week. The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education requires: Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry Form will be given to and completed by each student.
