EDL 7990 - Specialist Project

The Educational Specialist Project will focus on the work of the school superintendency. The candidate must interview current superintendents in the field and utilize some prescribed guiding questions to probe for the "Critical Success Factors" as deemed important by the superintendents. Review of current literature, a summary of the analysis, along with conclusions and findings of the interviews from a reflective posture will be included in a 5-chapter format that will be presented electronically. Note: Enrollment in all 7000-level EDL courses in restricted to students who have been accepted into the Ed.S. program, the Ed.D. program, or district-level program of study. Enrollment in all 8000-level EDL courses is restricted to students who have been accepted into the Ed.D. program in Educational Leadership.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Ed.S. program, the Ed.D. program, or district-level program of study.
