COUN 6140 - Family and RelationshipAn overview is provided of the major theories of family therapy and their therapeutic implications. Attention is given to the treatment of problems within a systems framework. Students are given a comprehensive survey of the major models of family therapy that includes, but is not limited to, the following: structural, strategic, Bowenian, experiential, solution-focused, behavioral and systemic.
