CJ 3800 - Crime and Deviant Behavior


This course addresses the link between the occurrence of crime and the deviant behavior associated therewith. A wide variety of specific deviant behaviors and theories are discussed in conjunction with the occurrence of the commission of crime. The student will be challenged to think about and evaluate his/her own biases and misconceptions regarding crime and deviant behavior.

Prerequisite(s): CJ 2261 .
