CJ 3270 - Juvenile Crime and JusticeA study of the juvenile offender in the juvenile justice system. Includes the philosophy, structure and function of juvenile courts; legal rights of accused juveniles; theories of juvenile delinquency; methods for rehabilitating juvenile offenders; and prevention of juvenile delinquency. Emphasis is placed upon law regarding juvenile offenses, adjudication and sentencing, as well as law enforcement, courts, and correctional agencies that process young offenders.
