CJ 3260 - Drugs Alcohol and CrimeThis course addresses the presence of drugs and alcohol in society and the criminal repercussions that often result from the involvement with such. Discussion will include drugs such as methamphetamine, marijuana and alcohol, as well as other major club drugs and the resulting burden on the criminal justice system (law enforcement, prosecution, courts and corrections) from the criminal activity resulting from involvement with these. The course is designed to address these legal and societal concerns from a Christian perspective and will benefit students from a variety of majors. Credit Hours: 3 Term Offered: Fall |
