BUS 3170 - Legal Environment of BusinessAn introduction to law and the American legal system with an emphasis on federal regulation. Topics treated include a survey of jurisdiction, alternative dispute resolution, torts, and criminal law. Other significant topics are the constitutional basis of regulation; administrative law consumer, environmental, and labor law; intellectual property; and a checklist of legal concerns of the business entrepreneur.
