All students interested in nutrition, food management, and/or applied dietetics practice will start in the Nutrition and Food Management program. Students who choose not to apply to the accelerated program in Applied Dietetics Practice and want a career utilizing the knowledge of food management will now have a separate option at the undergraduate level that leads to a variety of careers in nutrition and food management. This program also includes an embedded minor in Project Management. |
Liberal Arts: 38 Hours
All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major.
- BIOL 1200 , CHEM 1010/1010L and MATH 1200 fulfill 9 hours of the Natural World component and are counted below in the hours required for the major.
- FCS 2050 and IS 4200 fulfill 6 hours of the Global Perspectives component and are counted below in the hours required for the major.
Major: 76 Hours
This major includes an embedded minor in Project Management which will be reflected on the academic transcript. FCS Program Core: 6 Hours
