Liberal Arts: 50 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts  studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• Mathematics is counted below in the hours required for the major. (Do not take MATH 1200 .)

Major: 45-47 Hours

 All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher to progress into the next course.

• or COMP 1500 - Programming I Credit Hours: 3  

  and COMP 1510 - Programming II Credit Hours: 3  

• COMP 2450 - Data Structures Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 2500 - Web Development Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 2680 - Computer Architecture and Assembler Programming Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 3010 - Software Engineering Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 3100 - Operating Systems Concepts Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 3110 - Data Communication and Networking Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 3360 - Database Concepts and Applications Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 3450 - Object Oriented Programming Credit Hours: 3
• COMP 4390 - Computing Seminar Credit Hours: 1
• COMP 4400 - CS Software Development Project Credit Hours: 3
• MATH 1330 - College Algebra Credit Hours: 3

• (This requirement may be met with MATH 2300 , MATH 2350 , or MATH 3300 .)

Minor: 18 Hours

Choose one of the following:

• Data Analytics Minor  
• Information Systems Minor (for nonbusiness, computer science majors)  
• Networking and Security Minor  
• Project Management Minor  
• Systems Analysis and Design Minor  

Remaining Bible/Electives: 13-15 Hours
